Mountain Rides Expands Services for World Cup, Adding an Extra Bronze Route and Dedicated ADA Van Service
Mountain Rides is proud to play a key role in supporting the upcoming World Cup, one of the year’s most prestigious events. In anticipation of increased ridership, Mountain Rides has temporarily expanded its services and worked closely with Sun Valley Company to ensure ample transportation is available throughout the day for athletes, spectators, and staff.
To accommodate the increased demand, Mountain Rides is adding a temporary extra Bronze Route, which will provide dedicated transportation between River Run and Warm Springs, offering a convenient connection for event attendees. Additionally, in preparation for the 5850 Fest and the closure of Main Street, Mountain Rides has set up a detour plan to keep riders moving efficiently. The Valley Route will follow the same detour as last summer, traveling down Serenade Ln, to 2nd Ave, through 8th St, and back up to Warm Springs Rd–a route that applies to the existing Bronze Route.
Understanding the importance of accessibility, Director of Operations Jamie Canfield has also implemented a standby ADA van service for the World Cup. One ADA-accessible van will be stationed in Warm Springs and another in River Run, ensuring all passengers have equal access to transportation during this major event.
In anticipation of the increased ridership, Mountain Rides has provided additional driver training to enhance service quality and safety.
“We are thrilled to be part of such an exciting international event and have worked hard to ensure everyone has access to safe, reliable, and efficient transportation,” said Jamie Canfield, Director of Operations. “By collaborating with Sun Valley Company, providing additional services during the event, and training our drivers for the increased demand, we’re confident that Mountain Rides is ready for the World Cup.”
